Dorothy Jean Thomas Mason, 80, of Jasper, Tennessee died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at her home.

The daughter of the late JC & Margaret Mae Grubbs Thomas, she was a former employee of Salem Carpet Mill and Shaw Industries and was a member of Jasper First Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Mason; daughters, Angela Cross and Celeste Mason; and brothers, Hugh and Robert Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter, Jasmine (Scooter) Mason of Jasper, Tennessee; son, Billy (Linda) Mason of Sequatchie, Tennessee; grandchildren, Toby Mason, Corey Mason, and Amanda (Adam) Blevins; great-grandson, Hanley Bell; sister, Jacie Wright of Rockwood, TN; sister-in-law, Willodean Thomas of Pensacola, FL; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00-9:00pm Central time on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service on Friday.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 1:00pm Central time at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
