Dorothy Jane VanAllman Wilson, 68, of South Pittsburg, TN went to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 5, 2010 in a Chattanooga Hospital.
The daughter of the late George Milton and Dorothy Berryhill VanAllman, she was of the Baptist Faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Morgan Wilson, son, Thomas David Wilson and brother, Danny Joe VanAllman.
She is survived by her son, Greg Wilson of St. Petersburg, Florida; sisters, Carolyn Sue Gass of Cowan, TN, Rosemary Lumkin of Adamsville, Alabama and Wanda Joy Norton of Jasper, TN; two grandchildren; five great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, December 10th from 6-9pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Richard City Baptist Church on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2pm Central time with Reverend Johnny Anderson officiating, where the family will receive friends from 10am until 2pm. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Richard City Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, TN.
