Earl Case, Jr., 91, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016. The son of the late Earl and Bertie Mae Walker Case, he was a member of Richard City First Baptist Church and a WWII veteran of the US Army. He was a former employee of Babcock-Wilcox in Alliance, Ohio, and retired from Salem Carpet in South Pittsburg.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Case Whan and three brothers, Gerald, Clifford and James Case.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Case of South Pittsburg; son, Gerald Case, of Wooster, Ohio; daughter, Mary Earlane Cochrane, of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Tracey Sutton, Robin Marks, Heather Case, Stephanie Woodfin, Autumn Krupp, Shawna Kennemore, Jerren Howard, Lauren Case and Clinton Thomas; fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings, "Sis" Chance of South Pittsburg, Charles Case of Bridgeport, AL and Joe Case of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 19th from 10:30 AM until 2:30 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Graveside services will be held at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens at 3PM with Rev. Anthony Dodd officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
