Eddie A. Coffey, 71, of Jasper, TN, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at a local hospital.

Eddie attended the Sweedens Cove Church of Christ, and was the owner/operator of Dallas Boiler in Dallas, Texas for 12 years. He loved to build cars and joke with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Grant & Maudie Lee Radford Coffey; brother, T. Eugene Coffey; and sister, Peggy Wynne Boyd.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Dalton Coffey of Jasper, TN; sons, Eddie Lee Coffey (Breanna Ferguson) of Jasper, TN, Brian Layne (Coffey) (Debbie Burk) of Ider, AL and T.T. Coffey of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Connie Coffey, Regina Coffey and Sylvia Coffey all Knoxville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; special niece, Consondra Dalton of Jasper, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 3:30 pm Central time on Sunday, February 19, 2017 with Pastor Brian Layne officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, February 18th from 5:00-8:00 pm Central time at the funeral home.
