Edna Mae Gadd, 79, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Edna was a fun-loving woman whose laughter could brighten any room and whose presence made every gathering more joyful. She lived life with enthusiasm, finding happiness in simple pleasures, time spent with family and friends, and making memories with those she loved.

Known giving her honest opinions, Edna was admired for her straightforward nature and unwavering integrity. If you asked her opinion, you could always count on getting the truth—spoken with sincerity and often accompanied by her trademark sense of humor. Her honesty, kindness, and genuine character earned the respect and affection of everyone who knew her.

One of Edna's greatest joys was her beloved dog, Cassie, who was not just a pet but a cherished companion. The special bond they shared brought her comfort, happiness, and countless treasured moments.

Above all, Edna will be remembered for her warm heart, infectious smile, and the love she freely gave to family, friends, and animals alike. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and authenticity that will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Allie Mae Durham; two sons, Kevin and David Pace; sisters, Helen Sullivan and Marilyn Lyons.

She is survived by her sister, Phyliss Lewallen and her grandson, David Jacob Pace.

A Celebration of Edna's life will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. (CDT), in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the stories we share, the lessons she taught us, and the love she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
