Edna Coffman Ware

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Edna Coffman Ware, 94, of Chattanooga, TN passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, May 11, 2025, and will be greeted in heaven by family and friends that preceded her on this journey.

She was born on February 4, 1931, in Bridgeport, AL to Jasper William and Nancy Goins Coffman.  She was preceded in death by husband Alfred Ware, Jr. her parents, her brothers William "Bill" Coffman and JD Coffman and her sister Juanita Walker.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sharon Ware Manley (Steven) and Katherine Noden (Barry); grandson, Jerry Harding (Danielle) and two great grandchildren Jacob and David and many wonderful nephews, nieces and friends.

She was a devoted Christian and loved listening to old southern Gospel music.  She also loved to stay busy in the kitchen baking wonderful homemade desserts and would always greet you with a baked treat if you came to visit.

A Graveside service will be held at Cumberland View Cemetery, in Kimball, TN, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. (CDT) with Pastor Roger Webb.

The family will have a private viewing.

Pallbearers will be family members.
