Edwin Ray Price, 77, of New Hope, Tennessee passed away in a Chattanooga hospital on Sunday, July 30, 2018.

A lifelong resident of the South Pittsburg and New Hope area, he worked most of his life as a pipe-fitter and welder for several companies.

He was the son of the late James A. and Amanda Hicks Price; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Anice Elaine Price; siblings, Harold and Butch Price, Ruby Stubblefield, Shirley Graham, Lorraine Young and Brenda Green.

Survivors include his children, Ray Price and Terese Price; grandchildren, Crystal, Shay and Anise Price and Johnny Maynor; great-grandchildren, Kasia, Nakia, Jacori, Jacobi and Jamykah; brother, Bill (Doris) Price; sister, Sandy Bryan; sisters-in-law, Rose (Earl) Howard, Teresa (James) Workman; brother-in-law, Claude (Sheila) Bryan.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 12:00 Noon Central time at Rogers Funeral Home, South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Inurnment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens, Jasper.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 -12:00 p.m. Central time at the funeral home.
