Edwinna Goodgame Keown, of Red Bank, 88, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007. A native of South Pittsburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Annie C. Thomas Goodgame. Educated at South Pittsburg School, she graduated from Edmondson Business College in 1939. She was a Supervisor for Riegel Textile Corporation of Trion, GA for 21 years, before returning to South Pittsburg, where she worked for the South Pittsburg Housing Authority as Housing Manager. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and Lorene Tilford Sunday School Class. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Keown; sister, Elizabeth G. Long; three brothers, A. Maxwell Goodgame, Raburn C. Goodgame and Commander R. E. Goodgame, Jr. Survivors include her sister, Brooksie Goodgame McCay, Athens; two brothers, Charles F. Goodgame, Chattanooga and Dr. John T. Goodgame, Sr. of Belleair, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. EST Friday at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball with Rev. Bert Jones officiating. Great-nephews will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
