Elizabeth Reynolds Stephens, 84, formerly of South Pittsburg, died Tuesday in a Nashville hospital.
The daughter of the late Meredith and Annie Kennemore Reynolds, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. J. Stephens, daughter Jo Ann Stephens McCarty, brother Meredith Reynolds, and sister Margaret Choate.
She is survived by her son, Gary Don Stephens and his wife Patricia, of Ringgold, GA, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, brothers Dean and Hershell Reynolds, sisters Lillian Dodd and Violet Goff, all of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 1:00pm Eastern time.
The family will receive friends at the Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Friday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am, Central time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in memory of her mother, Mrs. Annie Reynolds.
