Ella Mae Goforth Rogers, 87, of Jasper, Tennessee, died Monday, March 9, 2020 at NHC of Chattanooga.

The daughter of the late Oscar Warren & Jessie Etta Tate Goforth, she was a native of Marion County and worked in the Assembly Department at for over 21 years at Royal-Desoto in Chattanooga. She attended Guild First Baptist Church and enjoyed working in her yard and cooking. She was also an avid Tennessee Volunteers, Atlanta Braves, and NASCAR fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Vadell, John, Joe, Stanley, William, and Paul Goforth; and sisters, Shirley Goins and Catherine Brown.

She is survived by her children, Dianne (Jerry) Brown of Rossville, Georgia, Johnny (Dedra) Rogers, Jr. of Dunlap, Tennessee, Allen Rogers of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandchildren, Chrissy Parkhill, Melissa Long Owensby, Beau Rogers, Cherub Rogers, Angelica Rogers, and Ethan Rogers; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Lulu Parkhill; sister, Betty Cagle; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Central time. Interment will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Central time at the funeral home.
