Mrs. Lois Griffith Greene, 82, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Sunday, February 16, at a local nursing home. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertie Lou Craft Griffith.
The owner and operator of Midway Cleaners in South Pittsburg for over 28 years, she was a member of the South Pittsburg Church of the Nazarene, a past member of the American Business Women's Association in Marion County and was known as "Mimmie" to her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Greene; three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Jayne (Rex) Pesnell; two grandchildren, Randle Pesnell and Shea Pesnell Phillips, all of Kimball; two great-grandchildren, Jack Pesnell and Ansley Phillips and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 18th from 10am to 12:30pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, followed immediately by graveside services at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM central time with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating.
