Emma Gladys Kemp Young, 90, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Saturday, March 11, at a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Carrie Land Kemp and was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Orville Young, and two daughters, Loretta Young and Sue Carmody. She was the owner and operator of Georgia's Restaurant for many years, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and made many beautiful quilts. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Daniels of Smithville, TN and Rene Bolton of South Pittsburg; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, June Guess of Bridgeport, AL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 15, at 1:00 PM, CST at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, with Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 14, 5-8 PM, CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
