Estil Kilgore, 81, of Guild, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Estil was a veteran of The United States Army, and was a member of Masonic Lodge Olive Branch # 297.

He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, gardening and visiting with friends.  He had strong love for his family and his community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ode Bell Kilgore and Charles E. Kilgore; Brothers, Arnold and James Kilgore.

Estil is survived by his wife, Marvie Jean Kilgore; children, Clarence L. (Mandy) Howard, Jeannie (Lamar) Gothard, Robert (Evelyn) Kilgore; sister, Evelyn Kilgore; eleven grandchildren; Jeffrey Geib,  Rachel Howard,  Kayla (Jeremiah) Hall,  Gus Howard,  Michael Howard, Jacob Howard, Jonas Kilgore, Levi Gothard, Sam Howard, Nolan Kilgore, and Leland Kilgore and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. (CST) at Rogers Funeral Home Jasper Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Smith officiating.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (CST) and on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Pallbearers are Gus Howard, Michael Howard, Jacob Howard, Jonas Kilgore, Levi Gothard, Sam Howard, and Nolan Kilgore.
