Mrs. Faye Barnard Marsh of South Pittsburg, TN died Thursday, March 3, 2011 in a local nursing home.

Born March 4, 1913 to the late Eblen and Mary Suddath Barnard, she and her late husband, E.H. "Ed" Marsh moved to South Pittsburg in 1932, where they owned and operated EH Marsh Service Company starting in the early 1940s. She retired in the late 1970s and enjoyed pursuing many interests, not the least of which was her excellence in cooking. She was a very active, longtime member of Holly Avenue United Methodist Church in South Pittsburg.

She is survived by her children, Gail (Jack) Odom of Sebring, Florida, Marilyn (Barry) Jostandt of Nashville, TN, Doris (Tommy) Durham of South Pittsburg, TN and Linda (Joe) Davis of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from Holly Avenue United Methodist Church in South Pittsburg at 2pm Central time on Sunday, March 6, 2011 with Reverend Anthony Grills officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-8 pm Central time on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
