Floyd Newton Barry, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026. Born on August 9, 1961, he was the beloved son of the late Floyd Dewitt "Red" Barry and Dolores Irene Meredith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Barry; his siblings, Karen Sokolowski and Ed Newton; and his daughters, Emily Eckert, Kayla Westman, and Samantha Grooms. With love extended to MaryAlice LeGrow, Tabitha Duncan, Jeremiah Brawley, and Ethan Hall.

Floyd had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was an animal lover who found great pleasure in life’s simple moments, whether relaxing in front of the TV or sharing a laugh over his trash brownies. Remembered as Floydie Doydie, Grumps, and Dad.

Floyd’s warmth, humor, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Join his celebration of life on his 65th Birthday, Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 3 pm to 6 pm (CST) at 100 Canyon Ave, Jasper, TN 37347.
