Floyd Leonard Dunlap, Jr.

Beloved husband, dad and papaw, Floyd 'Leonard' Dunlap, Jr, entered Heaven on Friday, November 29th, 2024, at the age 85.

He was the first of five children born to the late Floyd Leonard Dunlap, Sr and Alma Jewell Crowder Dunlap.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Leda Chastain Dunlap, brothers, Carroll Bryant Dunlap and Prim Bunker Dunlap, and son-in-law, Gary Fee.

Leonard is survived by his loving children, daughters, Melanie (Todd) Schulte, of Murfreesboro, TN, Melinda Fee of Readyville, TN and Wendi (Larry) Schroyer of Soddy Daisy, TN; son, Lynn (Jennie) Dunlap of Smyrna, TN.  Grandchildren, Michael Schulte, Matthew (Talia) Schulte; Addie Dunlap, and Ben Dunlap of Murfreesboro, TN and Taylor Fee, and Jordan Fee of Readyville, TN.  Great-grandsons, Grant Schulte, Ethan Schulte and Brody Schulte, and great-granddaughter, Mia Kate Moore, all of Murfreesboro, TN.  Siblings, Helen Guillen, and Nancy Brown along with a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Leonard was a faithful follower of Jesus, song leader, men's leader and faithful friend to all. He was dearly loved and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm (CST) with Funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm (CST) at New Life Church of God, 4447 Manson Pike, Murfreesboro, TN, 37129, with Pastor Patricia Yates officiating.

Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery, in Christiana, TN.

Pallbearers are Lynn Dunlap, Ben Dunlap, Michael Schulte, Matthew Schulte, Taylor Fee, and Jordan Fee.

Honorary Pallbearers are Addie Dunlap, Grant Schulte, Ethan Schulte, Brody Schulte and Mia Kate Moore.
