Frances Hicks Johnson, 83, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Thursday, August 17, 2017 in a local nursing home.
The daughter of the late James Charlie and Winnie Myrtle Russell Hicks, she was a founding member of the Community Full Gospel Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Johnson and a son, Frank A. "Frankie" Johnson.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who also loved her Lord.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlcie (Jimmy Ray) Wadkins, of South Pittsburg, TN; three grandchildren, Tonya Wadkins, Cristal Dykes and Daniel Wadkins; brother, James Edgar Hicks, of Splendora, TX; sisters, Jean Johnson, of Orem, UT and Mary Brown, of Sarasota, FL.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM central time. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, from 5-8 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
