Frances Jane Sampley Rector, 85, of Jasper, TN, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Frances was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Rector; her parents, James L. and Jennie Lee Weaver Sampley, Fort Oglethorpe, GA; brothers, Jimmy, Charles and Bud Sampley.

Survivors include her children, James (Linda) Rector, Wanda (Jerry) Knoll, all of Jasper, TN and Robert Rector of Lafayette, GA. She was a beloved grandmother to Cindy (J) Bray, Whitwell, TN, Jamie Rector, Jasper, TN, Kristy (Kevin) Hubbard, Jasper, TN, Traci (Rob Klipple) Knoll, of Decatur, TN, Scott Rector, of Rossville, GA, Karrie (Dan) McGannon of Orangeburg, SC; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jones of Lafayette, GA and Lois Hakanson, of Mobile, AL; brother Jessie Sampley of Atlanta, GA.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 4th from 4-8 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 5th at 1:00 PM, CST. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
