Frank Rogers Thomas, 59, of Monteagle, TN died on Monday, November 23, 2015 at his home.
The youngest son of Robert Reece and Emma Lockert Rogers Thomas, he was born on October 2, 1956 in Chattanooga and grew up in South Pittsburg, TN. Frank attended Richard Hardy Memorial School, the McCallie School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was an owner of Sequatchie Concrete Service and for many years managed their operations in Shelbyville, TN.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother and his daughter, Shanna Ruth Thomas.
He is survived by his father, Bob (Susan) Thomas of Monteagle; two sons, Stephen (Lyra) Thomas of Fairbanks, Alaska and Allen (Monica Soto) Thomas of Boynton Beach, Florida; brothers, Reece (Jenny) Thomas and David (Terri Lynne) Thomas both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; nieces, Jennifer Thomas and Emma Thomas; nephews, Robert Thomas and Carl Thomas all of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be held at Christ Church, Episcopal in South Pittsburg at 11:00 am Central time on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 with the Reverend John H. Bonner and the Reverend Kim Hobby officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday evening from 5-9pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
