Freddie Eugene Cartwright, Jr. 56, of Bridgeport, AL passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.  He was born March 28, 1965.

Freddie was a US Navy veteran and served on the USS Theodore Roosevelt during the Persian Gulf, Nicaraguan, and Desert Storm wars.  He was an avid Alabama Football fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Nellie Myrtle Murphy and Freddie Eugene Cartwright, Sr., brother, Terry Lands; sister, Sharon Duncan, and son Patrick Stevens.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Cartwright; daughters, Anna Smith (Matt), Samantha Cartwright, Sasha Cartwright, Amber Stevens, Nicole Condra, son, Adam Cartwright.  His grandchildren Kwentyn Condra, Travis Privett, Layla Hicks, Keilyn Condra, Delilah Hicks, and Lillian Smith; brothers, Ronnie Murphy and Clayton Lands, sister Audrey Salyers and his best friend, Mike Hathcock, several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Rogers Funeral Home of South Pittsburg with Bro. Randy Grider officiating and with Navy military honors.

Freddie will be laid to rest at Sardis Cemetery, Whitwell, TN.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 12:00 (Noon) (CST) to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Carl Lyons, John McCoy, William Hatfield, Jody Brandon, Wallace White, Steve Flemming, and Ernie McDonald.
