Freddie Jean Hill, 87, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, at her home.
A time to be born Freddie Jean Hill was born February 22, 1939, the daughter of Fred and Annie Williams, South Pittsburg, TN. A time to build up, she was a member of Mt. Bethlehem Baptist Church and attended various surrounding churches. She retired from South Pittsburg Knitting Mill. She graduated from McReynolds High School with special classmates Mary Wiggins and Fannie Walker whom she loved very much.
A time to embrace Freddie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Annie Williams, a brother, Fred Williams Jr.; two sisters, Billie Ann Johnson, and Deborah McCamey of Hollywood, Alabama one great great grandson, Adonis R. Ware and Brother-in-Law, Alvin Taylor.
Survivors include sister, Patricia (Patsy) Taylor; Sister-in-Law, Gloria Williams, Fred Williams III Chattanooga, TN; four children Ali Hill, Jackie (Mark) Hill, John Hill, Sherry (Lin) Rutledge, Terry Hill, 10 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) in the South Pittsburgh Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Gaines Chapel Cemetery, in Battle Creek.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CDT) prior to the funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. (CDT).
