Gary Lamar Howard, 70, of Jasper, TN died Friday, June 17, 2011 in a Monteagle hospital.

The son of the late Woodrow and Mary Magdalene Nelson Howard, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gladwyn Woodley Howard; aunts, Ethel Solomon, Bonnie Haggard and Elizabeth Carpenter and uncle, Marshall Nelson.

Survivors include aunt, Beulah (Willam Sr.) Baker of Jasper; uncle, Ed Howard of Columbus, GA; and several cousins: including, Betty (Winfred) Haggard and Wilma Haggard both of Jasper.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 2pm Central with Terry Case officiating.
