George Wallace Moore, Jr. was born on March 17, 1970 in Flint, Michigan to the late George Wallace Moore, Sr. and Patricia Evelena Todd Moore. He departed this life on Thursday, May 1, 2008.
He was a 1988 graduate of South Pittsburg High School, a US National Guard veteran and an employee of Valmont Industrial in Jasper.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving wife, Cherry L. Walker Moore; two daughters, Dynasty and Natile Moore all of Bridgeport, AL; two sons, Nicholas (Heather) Ware of Jasper, TN and Eric Hale of South Pittsburg, TN; granddaughter, Venisha Ware of Jasper; two sisters, Susie Smiley of Grand Blanc, Michigan and Wendy Moore of Chattanooga; brother, Linn Rutledge of South Pittsburg; mother and father-in-law, Clarence & Lina Walker; grandmother, Annie Robinson of Bridgeport, AL; brother-in-law, Clarence K. Walker, Jr.; three sisters-in-law, Brenda (Tony) Robinson, Norma (Troy) Allison all of Bridgeport and Eleanor (Rickey) Matthews of Chattanooga; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special uncle, Billy Bob (Vivian) Moore; best friends, Jerome Redd and Keith Garth.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 2 PM CDT with Reverend Maurice Williams officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
