George W. Walls, 92 of Kimball, Tennessee died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in a Chattanooga Hospital.
The son of the late John H. & Annie Boyles Walls, he was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, serving on the USS McCook, he was retired from TVA at Widow's Creek. He worshipped at the Church of Christ in Kimball.
He is survived by his wife, Dot Walls of Kimball; son, George Walls, Jr. of Flagler Beach, Florida; daughter, Nancye Walls of Arlington, Virginia; two grandchildren, Kendall Brown and George Kenneth Walls; two great-grandchildren, Carter Brown and Marigny Brown; brother, Samuel B. Walls of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Grace Houston of Dallas, Texas and Jane Shaub of Nashville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at Cumberland View Cemetery on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11 AM CST with Billy Watkins officiating.
