Gerald W. Lord passed to meet his heavenly father and was found to be worthy and well qualified when he completed his earthly journey on August 25th, slipping quietly into eternity at his home in Sequatchie, TN.

Gerry was a native of Commerce, GA and a devoted member of Olive Branch Masonic Lodge, the Eastern Star and Alhambra Shrine Temple. He was a former merchant seaman and spent most of his life as a civilian employee of the U.S. Civil Service working at Robins Air Force Base.

He is survived by his wife Emma Lord; sons, Jeff and Bill Lord; step-daughters, Mary Beth Nelson and Gail Fish; brothers, Peck and Bobby Lord; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren and too many friends to count.

He will be missed by all who crossed his path and even more by those who never will.

No services or visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Eastern Star #127 - Jasper, Shriners Hositals or Hospice of Chattanooga.
