Gladys Pace Hudson, 97, of South Pittsburg, TN, died in a Chattanooga hospital December 29, 2011.

Daughter of the late Wiley Richard and Lou Cinda Rogers Pace, Mrs. Hudson was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, and worked at the Pittsburg Knitting Mill for many years. Widow of William L. Hudson, she worked by his side at his ACME TV and Radio repair shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church in South Pittsburg for about 70 years. Mrs. Hudson was also preceded in death by her sister, Alice Mae Pace and brother, Roy Pace.

She is survived by her son, William Louis Jr. (Candice) Hudson of Ooltewah, TN; three grandsons, William L. Hudson, III of Chickamauga, GA, Jonathon Ryan Hudson of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and Brandon Trent Hudson of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Anniston Hudson and Corbin Hudson and several cousins.

Due to the weather, the service location has changed and will no longer be held at Cumberland View Cemetery; rather, Bro. Brad Bridgman will be officiating the service from the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg. Service time will be delayed until 11:45am CST.
