Harold Ivey

Harold Gibson Ivey, Sr., 86, a lifelong resident of South Pittsburg, TN, died Saturday, March 7, at a Chattanooga nursing home. The son of the late John Murray and Maudell Gibson Ivey he was also preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ivey and a sister, Peggy Terhune.
Mr. Ivey was a member of Holly Avenue United Methodist Church, Marion Masonic Lodge #515 and the Chattanooga Scottish Rite Bodies.
He is survived by his children, Melissa (David) Jackson, of Kimball, "Gib" (Carolyn) Ivey, of New Hope; grandchildren, Robby (Taylor) Jackson and Mia Ivey all of New Hope; great-grandson, Grayson Jackson; brothers, Gene Ivey of San Antonio, TX, Bill Ivey of Chattanooga and Dick Ivey, of Union Grove, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 9th from 4 to 8 PM central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg with a Masonic Service at 7:30 PM central time.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 10 at 1:00 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg with Rev. Michael Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
