Mr. Harry Hall, 87, of Knoxville, TN died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in a Knoxville nursing home.
A former South Pittsburg resident, he was a US Army Veteran of World War II. A long-time school book salesman for Holt, Rinehart and Winston Publishing Company, he was also a former communicant of Christ Church Episcopal in South Pittsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jane Brooks Hall; his wife, Mary Louise Rogers Hall; two children, Jan & Tony Hall; brother, Malcolm Norris "Mac" Hall.
He is survived by his daughter, Juda Hall (Sam) Brown; son, Dan Hall all of Knoxville; grandson, Jeremy (Holly) Shore; great-grandson, Brooks Kelemi Shore; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from Christ Church Episcopal in South Pittsburg, TN on Saturday, January 3, 2008 at 11 AM CST with Father Stephen Eichler officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball.
The body will lie in state at the church from 9 AM until service time on Saturday.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
