Hattie Mae McCarver Collier, went to be with her Savior on Monday, March 6, 2006. She was of Baptist faith. She was born October 16, 1925 to William Lee and Cora Lee Stewart McCarver. She was married to Daniel Booker Collier in May 11, 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, a daughter Clora Ann Martin, sister Louise Hale, brothers, Norman McCarver, Willet and James Harrison McCarver and step-son, Daniel Collier, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Jalanie (Charles) Slaughter, two sons, Bradley (Thereisa) Collier, and Dwight Collier all of South Pittsburg, a step-son, Robert (Mary) Collier, of Stevenson, Alabama, a sister, Vivian (Billy Bob) Moore, of South Pittsburg and one brother Alvia (Joanne) McCarver, of Toledo, Ohio and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 9 at 1:00 PM, CST at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Martin officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
