Helen Sue Brewington Railey

New Hope, Tennessee

Helen Sue Railey, 85, of New Hope, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at her home surrounding by love.

She was retired from TVA Widows Creek.  She enjoyed traveling, quilting, genealogy and family reunions.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Brewington and Amanda Manier Brewington; daughter, Lynn Beck; son, Brian Whitson; brother, Don Brewington, sister, Nella Sheperd.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Jimmy L. Railey; two daughters, Rebecca Sue York (companion; David Robinson); Kimberly ( Michael) Poe; son, Jeff Whitson, brother, Ron (Alice) Brewington of Lakeland, Florida and many grandchildren, nieces and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. (CST) in South Pittsburg Chapel with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the celebration of Life in the South Pittsburg chapel.
