Helen Morris Ladd Childers, 79, of South Pittsburg, TN died Sunday, July 17, 2016 in a local nursing home.
She attended Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Myrtle Clark Morris; two husbands, Oscar Ladd and Doyle Childers; sons, Paris, Donnie, and "Smokey" Ladd; daughter, Susie Sprinkle; and grandson, Lee Ladd.
She is survived by her children, Sheila Cagle of South Pittsburg, Zelda Foster of Winchester, TN, Esther Troutman, Leslie Ladd and Ronnie Ladd all of South Pittsburg; grandchildren, Jonathan & Ashley Smallwood, Justin & Mai Smallwood, Matthew & Ashley Smallwood, Cameron Cagle, Randall, Dylan, Stacey, Nick, Eli, Katilyn, Jamie, Danny, Matthew and Logan Ladd, Christie and Chris Dalton; several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 12:00 Noon Central time with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will follow at Tate Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until service time.
