Horace Wayne Parker, 73, much loved and loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather, has left this realm to begin his journey to a better one on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Wayne was a Vietnam Army Veteran, retiree from TVA, Former Lions Club member, hunter, traveler, and gardener. He was an incredibly gifted, funny, kind man who will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by many relatives including his parents, Horace Parker, and Beatrice Parker.

He leaves behind his wife, Lona Parker; son, Josh Parker; daughter, Amanda Collier; son, Aaron Parker; Son, Riley Malone, as well as brother, Ronald (Lana) Parker; sister, Gayle Bowen, five nieces, one nephew, twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 6:00 pm (CST), at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Stuart officiating.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
