Mr. Howard Paul Leroy, 85, of Jasper, TN died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility.
The son of the late John Daley and Emily Cookston LeRoy, he was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He was also preceded in death by his two sisters, Ruby Whitlock and Jean Milligan; three brothers, John D., Charles, and Richard LeRoy; and grandson, Corey LeRoy.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patsy Ross LeRoy of Jasper; sons, Mike (Donna) LeRoy of Jasper, Steve (Martha) LeRoy and Scott (Mary) LeRoy both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jeremy LeRoy of South Korea, Christina (Terry) Barnes, Amanda (Wes) Thacker both of Chattanooga, and Elizabeth LeRoy of Chicago, IL; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Terry, Lily and Emmy; and his siblings, Florence Frizzell, Rachel Crabtree, Faye Anderson, Jo Harris and Wayne LeRoy.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 5:00 pm Central time with Rev. Mike King officiating. Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard will provide military honors. A private family interment will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 pm Central time until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 111 Browder Switch Road, Jasper, TN 37347.
