Ibbie Larreecie Martin Bennett, 95, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 14, 2018.

She was born in Crane Hill, Alabama, June 12, 1922, and moved to South Pittsburg in 1947. She was a long-time member of South Pittsburg First Baptist Church, a devoted wife and mother, and former employee of Hammer's Department Store. She loved gardening, sewing, reading, and doing things for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Artie Mae Hudson Martin, her three sisters, Opal Sanders, Jewel Calvert, and Evelyn Pesnell, her husband, Jefferson Davis Bennett, and one son, Bruce Lynn Bennett.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Carol) Bennett, Neil (Julie) Bennett, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Central time at the South Pittsburg First Baptist Church, with Rev. Brad Bridgman officiating. Interment will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Central time on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
