Ina Bobbie Herron King, 75, of South Pittsburg, TN died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital.
The daughter of the late Bob and Gladys Bunch Herron, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a former employee of Pittsburg Knitting Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, William "Duck" King; brother, Paul E. Herron and two sisters, Evelyn Samples and Katherine Nunley.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy King of Jasper, Billy (Margaret) King and Paul Don (Brenda) King both of South Pittsburg; step-children, Gene King, Donnie King, Marvin King and Rose Looney all of South Pittsburg; grandchildren, Nicholas King of Chattanooga, Brett (Kristen) King of Lookout Valley, Adam King of Chattanooga and Kristy King of Franklin, TN; and two great-grandchildren, Chelsie and Maddie King.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 1pm Central time on Friday, July 16, 2010 with Reverend Richard Goss officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-9pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
