Mr. Isaac McKinley "Bud" Dawson, 79, died Monday, March 17, 2008 in a local healthcare facility.
The son of the late Edward and Cora Hambrick Dawson, he was a member of Orme Valley Church of God and worked as a chef during the many years he lived in Rockford, IL. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Grace Cleveland, Bertha Dawson; brothers, Edward and Frank Dawson; niece, Brenda Wilbanks; nephew, Leon Dawson.
He is survived by brother, William Dawson of Bridgeport, AL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Orme Valley Church of God on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 11 AM CDT. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-9 at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg. The body will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time.
