James William Bivins, 82, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at a local hospital.
He was the son of the late Willie Allen and Willie Bivins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Francilla Ladd Bivins; and sister, Margaret Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter, Dede Bivins of Nashville, TN; brother, Sam Bivins, of Louisville, KY; sister, Mary Elizabeth Bivins of Atlanta, GA, several nieces and nephews and dear friend, Lucy Greer.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 14, at 11:30am central time from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00pm eastern time.

Visitation will be Friday, March 14, from 10:30am central time until the time of service at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
