James D. Haggard, 76, of South Pittsburg, TN died Friday, June 8, 2007 in an area Hospital.The son of the late Grover and Josie Terry Haggard, he was a 16 year resident of South Pittsburg. A US Air Force Veteran, he attended Long Island Baptist Church and was a member of the Hixson Masonic Lodge #752 and the Scottish Rite. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Dale Haggard, Jr.; brother, Donald Haggard and sister, Inez Wood.He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Edith K. Haggard of South Pittsburg; three daughters, Carla (Danny) Sandlin, Cathy (Raymond) Kerley, Karen (Jim) Davis; three grandchildren, Candice Davis, Caitlin Kerley and Kris Davis; great-granddaughter, Dasia Ware; brother, Albert Haggard; sisters, Eloise Reynolds and Barbara A. Haggard; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from Long Island Baptist Church on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 5:30 PM Eastern Time with Reverend David Marona officiating.
