James Albert "Sonny" Guinn, 81, of South Pittsburg, TN, died peacefully Monday, June 27, at his home. He was the son of the late Bedford and Laura Mae Jones Guinn.
He was retired from Pittsburg Knitting Mill where he had worked since it opened.
Mr. Guinn is survived by his wife, Jo Guinn of South Pittsburg; two sons, James G. Guinn of Stevenson, Alabama and Gregory Johnson of South Pittsburg; three daughters, Teresa (Winfred) Smith of Kimball, TN, Vicki (David) Duke of Richard City, TN and Joanne (Randy) Kennemore, of New Hope, TN.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 30th and Friday, July 1st from 2-9 pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 2nd with Rev. J.B. Jones and Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
