James Lee Webb, 67, of South Pittsburg, TN died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 25, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital.

A member of Bible Baptist Church, he was a former employee of TN Alloy, had retired from the Marion County Highway Department and had also served for many years as a law enforcement officer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Laura Mae Newsom Webb; brothers, Frank and Tom Webb; and sisters, Louise Dial, Betty Kay Ruth and Virginia Brazier.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hogan Webb of South Pittsburg; daughters, Dianne (Grady Lockhart) Smith of Tracy City, Renee (Brian) Lewis of Kimball and Holly (Ritchie) Miolen of Whitwell; son, Michael Mosley of Bryant, AL; step-children, Michael (Lori) Whitefield of Manchester, TN, Chris Whitefield of Smithville, TN and Carol Renee (Ronnie) Wollenweber of Rock Island, TN; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Kitty Strickler of Kingsport, TN; brothers, Joe (Arlene) Webb and Roger (Jan) Webb both of Jasper, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 2pm Central time with Marion Duggan and Junior Holloway officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, October 27th from 4-9pm Central time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rogers Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
