James Brian Whitson, 47, of South Pittsburg, TN died Thursday, November 15, 2012 in a Chattanooga Hospital.

A US Navy Veteran, he was a former employee of Moss Motors and US Stove and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Manda Lou Manier Brewington, Tracy Z. Whitson and Eddie G. Wheatley Whitson Heyne and father, Estel Z. Whitson.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Rackler Whitson; step-children, Jeffery Evans, Johnathon Hicks, Brandon Hicks and Cassandra Hicks all of South Pittsburg; mother and step-father, Jimmy and Sue Railey of New Hope; siblings, Kim Poe, Becky York both of New Hope, TN, Jeff Whitson of South Pittsburg and Lynn Beck of Attica, OH; four grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Bobby & Joyce Rackler.

Memorial services will be at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, November 18th at 3:30 pm Central time.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 19th at 2pm Central time at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
