James Larry Ziegler, 63, of Jasper, TN, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 in a local hospital.
The son of the late James Lawrence Ziegler he was a member and a Deacon of First Baptist Church in Jasper and was the "Voice of the Marion County Warriors" for many years. Larry worked for Colonial Bakery for 35 years, Holsum Bakery for 5 years and retired in 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Ziegler; his son Larry (Sarah) Ziegler, Jr., his daughter, Dr. Martha (Ryan Carter) Ziegler all of Jasper, TN; his mother, Earlene Ziegler, of South Pittsburg, TN; sisters, Vickie (Terry) Hoover, of Murfreesboro, TN, Lorie (Bobby) Blalock, of Chattanooga, TN and Jane (Richard) Talley, of South Pittsburg, TN; brother, Mark (Vanessa) Ziegler, of Tucson, AZ; grandsons, James, Thomas and Isaac Carter.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 14, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services will be conducted from Jasper First Baptist
Church at 12 Noon on Monday, August 15th with Rev. Greg Steele officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Jasper First Baptist Church Youth Fund.
