Mrs. Jamie Dawson Turner, 28, of South Pittsburg, died Monday, March 17, 2008 in a Chattanooga hospital following a brief, but very courageous battle with cancer.
The daughter of the late Frieda Moore Dawson, she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a graduate of North Jackson High School. She was also preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe D. Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Marlin Turner of South Pittsburg; children, Caitlin and Quentin Dawson, Paige, Trey and Tresda Turner; brothers, Chris Dawson, Brandon Summers and Cody Dawson; father, James (Linda) Dawson; grandmother, Addie Lee Moore; grandfather, William Dawson; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 2 PM CDT with her uncle, Reverend Joe Moore officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19, from 4-9 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
