Jane Templeton Lindsay, 84, of Jasper, Tennessee, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility.

The daughter of the late Malcolm Carson and Josephine Sheffield Templeton, she was a teacher in the Marion County School System for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lindsay.

She is survived by her son, William (Viktoria) Lindsay of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandchildren, Vlad (Anastasia) Saveljevs of Jasper, Tennessee, Franklin (Cassie) Lindsay of Knoxville, Tennessee and Nathan L. Lindsay of Nashville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, Drake, Carson and Madeline; brothers, Ray Templeton of Ooltewah, Tennessee and Don Templeton of Fayetteville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at Jasper Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm Central time on Sunday, November 6, 2016 with Darrell Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Burns Cemetery near the Foster Falls community.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the church on Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.
