Jane Murner Peardon, 80, of Guild, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.

Born in Talladega, AL on March 19, 1936, she was a lifelong member of Guild First Baptist Church where she served as clerk for many years. She worked many years at MCHS, the Marion County Courthouse and forty-four years in the banking industry where she retired in 2015 at the age of 79.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Peardon; and son, Tim Peardon; parents, James Raymond and Margaret Keahey Murner.

She is survived by her children, Suzy Martin, of Guild, TN and Eddie (Debbie) Peardon, of Jasper, TN; grandchildren, Chuck Martin, Mary Martin, Jennifer (Heath) Gruetter, Matt (Kyra) Peardon; great-grandchildren, Kaeden & Bo Gruetter and Emma Kate Peardon; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Brenda) Peardon; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 26, from 2:00 - 9:00pm and on Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00pm Central time.
