Janice Mayfield Goins, 62, of Stevenson, AL died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her home.

The daughter of the late James S. Graham and Fannie Bell Mayfield, she was a graduate of Stevenson High School. She retired from Beaulieu where she worked in their lab and was a member of Stevenson First Baptist Church. She enjoyed living on her farm, gardening and canning. She also operated a cattle operation and loved her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Goins.

She is survived by her daughter, Missy (Todd) Ford of Athens, TN; grandchildren, Madison and Jackson Ford; and numerous cousins, including Mack, Vickie and Mrs. Tommy Saylors, Tina Thomas Rich and Terry Thomas Woodfin and many friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Stevenson City Cemetery with Rev. Joshua K. Posey officiating. Interment will immediately follow.
