Mrs. Janice Sue King, 71, of South Pittsburg, TN died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, in a Chattanooga hospital.
The daughter of the late Thomas M. and Dora Howard Vanhuss, she was the widow of Walter "Buddy" King and was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Vanhuss Hawn.
Sue was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, the South Pittsburg Lions Club, and was a former employee of Brock Candy Company.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristi K. (Tracy) Wooden, and two grandchildren, Carmen and Ashley Wooden all of South Pittsburg.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Pine Grove Baptist Church in New Hope, officiated by Rev. Mickey Skates. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
