Jeffrey Kevin Holley

Jeffrey Kevin Holley, age 53, of Tampa, Fl, but currently residing in Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Jeff was a dedicated fire inspector who made friends wherever he went. He worked for International Fire Protection for thirteen years before moving to Tennessee in 2022, where he continued his career with Shambaugh and Sons. Jeff loved his work and took great pride in what he did. He was a hardworking man with a strong reputation and was respected by those who had the opportunity to work with him.

Jeff had a fun-loving spirit and was truly a big kid at heart. He was nostalgic and especially loved the 1980s. He enjoyed listening to his extensive vinyl record collection and treasured his records. His interests included RC cars, classic cartoons, and video games.

Some of Jeff's favorite memories were the adventures and laughter he shared with those he loved. One memorable chapter of his life was working as a bouncer at the Dallas Bull in Tampa, where he once dressed as a 7 ft. tall leprechaun in green tights—an experience fondly remembered with the words, “Money Talks.” He also treasured being called Papa EFF and the memories of teaching his grandson, Greyson, to shoot his Red Ryder BB gun.

Jeff loved camping with his wife and family and enjoyed the companionship of his beloved pets, including his cats Roo and Willie, and his dogs Parker Turd, Peanut, and Patty Cakes.

Jeff was a dedicated husband who truly loved his wife and spending time together. It didn’t matter what they did as long as they were enjoying each other’s company.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. Holley and Jenny Smith Holley and brother, Keith Tate.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Jennifer A. Holley; daughter, Sarah Santos; son-in-law, Tyler Bishop; grandchildren, Trent “TJ” Bishop, Livy Bishop, and Greyson Bishop; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edward and Karen James; sister-in-law, Susan Harris; brothers-in-law, Edward James, Jr. and Bruce Mallory; sister, Marilyn Tate Frazier; great niece, Hadley Frazier; great nephew, Bobby Shrum; cousin, James Smith; 2nd cousin, Kyland Smith; and several nieces and nephews, Paul Turney, James Frazier, Jenny Shrum, Alester Tate, Deanna Tate, A.J. Tate. Delynda Weisbrodt, Heather Riddle, Charles Smith, Nicki Kjolhede, and LeeAnn Healy, Mark and Lauren Mahoney, Matt and Melissa Harris and children; along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members, and friends.

Jeff was a believer in Christ and will be remembered for his love of family, his unique sense of humor, and the friendships he made throughout his life. He leaves behind many cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life for Jeff at a later date in Florida.
