Ms. Jessie Wilma Allison Partin, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2009. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in South Pittsburg for 52 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Partin, Sr.; her father, John Berry Allison; her mother, Bertha Lawhorne Allison; brothers, J.D. Allison, Teen Allison, Orville Allison; sisters, Kate Thomas and Evelyn Hill; and son-in-law, Donnie Ray Light. She is survived by her son, William T. "Tommy" (Susie) Partin, Jr. of Kimball, TN; daughter, Teena Partin Light of Hollywood, AL; grandsons, William T. "Bill" Partin, III of South Pittsburg, John Scott (Amy) Partin of Stevenson, AL, and Johnathan Andrew Light of Hollywood; granddaughter, Jessica Allison Light of Hollywood; one great-grandson, Hugh McCallie Partin of Stevenson; a special sister-in-law, Lucille Wynne; a special friend, Sid Payne; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2pm CDT on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Rogers Funeral Home chapel in South Pittsburg. Reverends Richard Goss, Johnny Thomas and Wayne Bowman will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Bill Partin, Scott Partin, Hugh Partin, Andrew Light, Howard Allison, Ken Wynne and Mark Payne. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL following the service. Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2009 from 5-9pm CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
