Jim L. Gray, 70, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in a Chattanooga hospital.

Jim Gray loved many things- a few of these being a loving and devoted father to his children and grandchildren, Pirate football, motorcycles and barbecuing with family and friends. He never met a stranger and was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He was loved by so many people and made a huge impact on them as well. He was kind, generous and loving. He cherished his family more than anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Gray and Louise Rowland Gray Wynne; son, Kenneth Shane Gray; nephew, Bart Wynne; and best friend, Jackie Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Della Cagle Gray, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; children, Jeff St. Clair, of South Pittsburg, Shane (Tasha) Gray of Bridgeport, Alabama, Dawn Kelsey, of Sparta, Tennessee, Sherry (Justin) Joyner, of Jasper, Tennessee, and Sheila Gray, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; grandchildren, Cody, Halley, Matt, Bailey, Elijah, Kiara, Keely, Abbi, Kwentyn, Kyle, Lacy, Brooklyn, Maelah, and Lakelyn; step-children, David (Tina) Adams, of Kimball, Tennessee, and Shannon Adams, of Jasper; step-grandchildren, Tristan, Jace, Justice, Brandon, Jayden, Alyson, Cameron, and Eli; brothers, Ricky (Cindy) Wynne, of Hollywood, Alabama, and Terry (Michelle) Wynne, of South Pittsburg; nephew, Caleb (Carrie) Wynne, of Bridgeport, Alabama; great-niece, Avery Grace; great-nephews, Caden & Landon; best friend, P. Joe Spivey, of Sparta, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Friday, February 23rd from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Central time and on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until service time.
